Heavy Heart is a bronze sculpture created through a meticulous surgical procedure of reconstructing the fragments of a human heart. Broken pieces of the heart are individually moulded with rubber silicon and the wax positives are grafted together with spaces between each fragment. Heavy Heart is a tangible representation of the heavy burden that comes with emotional pain, and with time, mends back to its original form through the power of the mind.
